Privacy statement
How I handle your data
vetter.nl collects as little as possible. It uses no cookies and tracks no one. Here is what does happen.
Who processes your data
I, Jeroen Vetter, process your data through Vetter Management & Advisory B.V.
Noordzijdseweg 97, 3415 RA Polsbroek, The Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 92075290
info@vetter.nl
The contact form
If you fill in the form, I receive your name, your email address and the message you write. I use this information only to reply to your message. I keep it for as long as we are in contact and delete it afterwards, after two years at the latest. The same applies to information you give me by email or telephone.
The legal basis for this is your request for contact: I take steps at your request prior to entering into a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). You are not obliged to use the form; an email or a phone call is just as welcome.
Visitor statistics
I want to know which pages are read, so that I can improve the content. For this I use Plausible, a European service that measures without cookies and without identifying visitors. Plausible uses your IP address briefly to tell visits apart within a single day, and does not store it. I only see totals, never who you are. The data is not shared or sold on.
That is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask your consent for.
Who else sees your data
vetter.nl is hosted by VDX Internet Services in the Netherlands. The web server keeps log files containing IP addresses, solely for security and technical maintenance. These logs are deleted after one day.
My email runs through Google Workspace. Google also processes data in the United States; it does so under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified.
The statistics run through Plausible (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia).
I have a data processing agreement with each of these three parties. I share nothing with anyone else.
Your rights
You may ask what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, have its processing restricted, receive a copy in a readable file and object to its use. A message to info@vetter.nl is enough; I will respond within one month. If you disagree with how I handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security and changes
All traffic to and from vetter.nl is encrypted. If anything in this statement changes, I will update the date below.
